Larissa Meier is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Sociology at the University of Bielefeld where she works on a comparative project on protest dynamics and societal cohesion in different German cities. Her research focuses on contentious politics with a specific focus on different forms of political violence, radicalization, the role of emotions in mobilization and on the conditions and effects of contentious action more generally.
