Focus and Scope
The Electronic Journal of Applied Statistical Analysis (EJASA) is an international and peer-reviewed journal, published half-yearly (until 2009 annualy) articles which contribute new research ideas in all areas of the statistical science including theoretical, social statistics, applied, computational or conceptual papers related to probability or statistics. All the papers in the EJASA are refereed papers by two international reviewers.
In addition, special issues dedicated to a specific topic will also be published on EJASA.
Its scope is to promote study and research in all fields of statistics and to contribute to the diffusion of the statistical thinking culture.
Publication in EJASA is free of charge. The submitted papers are accepted only in English describing original research not published nor currently under review by other journals. Parallel submissions will not be accepted.
All submitted papers, if relevant to the themes and objectives of the journal, will go through two rounds of an external peer-review process. The decision about any submitted paper will be taken within at least four months of receipt.
Publication Frequency
The Journal is published in two issues per year (November and May).
Open Access Policy
EJASA provides open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the researchers, improve the global exchange of knowledge.
Archiving
EJASA enabled the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure a secure and permanent archive for the publication. LOCKSS is open source software developed at Stanford University Library that enables libraries to preserve selected web publications by regularly polling registered publication websites for newly published content and archiving it.

Publication Ethics
The Electronic Journal of Applied Statistical Analysis (EJASA) takes the commitment to comply all possible measures against any publication malpractices and plagiarism.
All authors submitting their manuscripts to the EJASA for publication as original articles, short notes, reviews or invited papers, attest that they are based on authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works. The authors should declare any actual or possible conflicts of interest with their work.
All the submitted papers considered relevant with respect to the themes and the objectives of the EJASA, will undergo two rounds of a fair double-blind peer-review process, in way to prevent any possible conflict of interests.
Any ethic violation should be reported to the Editor in Chief who will take the necessary actions.
