The luck of Leonardo da Vinci is given by his genius, less by the political and ecclesiastical protagonists of his time. Estimated and ignored, the Artist had trained in the Florentine school of Verrocchio and attend the most illustrious courts of modern Europe, from the Medici to the Sforza, up to the Rome of the Popes, where he has special contacts with Alessandro VI and Leone X. And right here he experiences the oblivion and indifference, tracks on which he embarks on his journey to reach the France of Francis I.

La fortuna di Leonardo da Vinci è data dal suo genio, meno dai protagonisti politici ed ecclesiastici del suo tempo. Stimato e ignorato, l'Artista si era formato alla scuola fiorentina del Verrocchio e frequenta le corti più insigni dell'Europa moderna, dai Medici agli Sforza, fino a raggiungere la Roma dei papi, dove ha particolari contatti con Alessandro VI e Leone X. E proprio qui sperimenta l'oblio e l'indifferenza, binari sui quali intraprende il suo viaggio per raggiungere la Francia di Francesco I.
