Next to the space we inhabit every day, there is the perception of a supernatural territory, dreamed or real, which is the object of desire. This place becomes a stimulus for the creation of a relationship that is often impractical, but possible. In the period of the pandemic, today as then, an appointment with God is requested. In this short essay we have examined some sacred and profane, ancient and modern "formulas" that the community has used and uses when inexplicable diseases disrupt the natural order of things, undermining the balance and the peace of existence. Obviously, this is only a few examples that can, in any case, provide some food for thought, since the subject matter would require much more space.

Accanto allo spazio che abitiamo ogni giorno, esiste la percezione di un territorio soprannaturale, sognato o reale, che è oggetto di desiderio. Questo luogo diviene stimolo per la creazione di un rapporto spesso impraticabile, ma possibile. Nel periodo della pandemia, oggi come allora, si chiede un appuntamento con Dio. All'interno di questo breve saggio sono state esaminate alcune "formule" sacre e profane, antiche e moderne di cui la collettività si è servita e si serve quando malattie inspiegabili scompaginano l'ordine naturale delle cose, minando gli equilibri e la quiete dell'esistere. Ovviamente, si tratta solo di qualche esempio che può, in ogni caso, fornire alcuni spunti di riflessione, poiché l'argomento preso in esame richiederebbe ben più ampi spazi.
