Author Guidelines

The manuscripts should be submitted as .doc or .rtf files, through the journal website. In order to guarantee authors real blind peer-review, please follow the Authors' Guidelines carefully, available in the following file: Authors' Guidelines L&L.

When filling in their profiles, the authors are kindly asked to specify a telephone number where they can be traced in case of urgent need for communication. When writing the manuscript and the abstract files, please follow the Authors' Guidelines and use the templates provided (template_text_L&L_eng_2016.doc;  template_abstract_L&L_eng_2016.doc ; template_review_L&L_eng_2016.doc and template_special_issue_2016.doc ).

Please notice that Lingue e Linguaggi is a double-blind peer reviewed scientific journal which follows the ethic statements of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. All possible measures against any publication malpractice are taken. All parts involved – editors, referees and authors - must know and agree on these ethic principles. Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. I herewith declare that my manuscript is not substantially  similar to papers which have already been published.

   Dichiaro che l'articolo è, per forma e contenuto, sostanzialmente diverso da lavori già pubblicati (come specificato nel Codice Etico di Lingue e Linguaggi).

2. The manuscript is formatted according to the specifications provided in the Authors' Guidelines.

   L’articolo è stato formattato seguendo scrupolosamente tutte le indicazioni fornite nella sezione Authors Guidelines.

3. The manuscript is organized in numbered sections and subsections.
   

   L’articolo è adeguatamente suddiviso in sezioni numerate e titolate.

4. All the figures, tables and graphs in the manuscript are adequately numbered, and captioned.

   Le immagini, le tabelle e i grafici sono adeguatamente numerati e corredati di didascalia.

5. All the figures, tables and graphs in the manuscript are adequately mentioned in the text itself.

   Per ogni immagine, figura o grafico ricorre nel testo un adeguato rimando.

6. The bibliographical items listend in the References coincide with the the quotations in the text and notes.

   Nell’articolo vi è totale coincidenza tra i riferimenti bibliografici nel corpo del testo e nelle note e quelli elencati nell’apposita sezione alla fine dell’articolo stesso.

7. The manuscript has been read by a native speaker and is lexically and grammatically correct.

   - L’articolo è stato riletto da un madrelingua e non presenta errori lessicali o morfosintattici.

    

8. I herewith declare that I have read the Publications Ethics statement.

   Dichiaro di avere letto attentamente il Codice Etico della rivista (Publication Ethics).
