Si tratta di una tesi sperimentale che analizza a livello storico, sociale, psicologico e chimicobiologico le diverse fasi dell'amore e le cause che inducono una persona ad innamorarsi di un'altra. Da qui, dopo aver descritto la difficile prova del fidanzamento, si analizzano i motivi che inducono le coppie odierne a scegliere tra matrimonio religioso e civile e la convivenza prematrimoniale e a tempo indeterminato; il tutto confermato da dati statistici rilevati a livello nazionale e locale, integrati dalla somministrazione sul campo di un test. Si discute, altresì, della situazione di scelta parallela tra le differenti nazionalità e si approfondisce e completa il discorso con l'integrazione degli aspetti legali delle quattro situazioni su dette.

It's an experimental thesis that analyzes the different phases of love and the causes that lead a person to fall in love with another one from an historical, social, psichological and chemicalbiological point of view. Then, after describing the hard experience of engagement, it analyzes the reasons why nowaday partners have to choose between religious and civil marriage rather then living together before marriage or for indeterminate time; all this is statistically confirmed at a national and regional level and integrated by another test applied on a limited area. The thesis discusses, besides, the situation of the choise between the different nationalities and go into the field of legal aspects of the above-mentioned situations.
