Përkrenarja dhe shpata e Gjergj Kastriotit, të quajtur Skënderbe
Abstract
In the Imperial armory of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna are stored two objects from the sixteenth century which are commonly attributed to the Albanian hero George Castriota said Scanderbeg (1403-1468): a helmet with the inventory number A127 and a sword with the inventory number A550. The author submits a precise analysis of the two objects on the basis of a rigorous investigation performed directly on these objects. The result of his research leads to new and unexpected conclusions.
