Weakly functionally \Theta- normal spaces, \Theta-shrinkingof covers and partition of unity


Abstract


Characterizations of weakly \Theta-normal spaces, similar to that of a normal space, are obtained and used to establish the existence of partition of unity subordinated to certain locally finile open covers.
