Taking as foundation one of Graunt's memoirs (XVIII sec.)presented to the London Royal Society in which Graunt mentions the proportionality of the sexes of a population considered by him on the whole,I propose a method for the construction of Death-rate Tables through a stocastic process.I apply the method for the construction of cildren's death rate tabes in the province of Lecce carrying the results numerically and graphically.
