Medicina, filosofia e antropologia nell'Antrum magico-medicum

Abstract

Antrum magico-medicum is a miscellany of medical knowledge from the first half of the 17th century in which, alongside recipes and advice for treating ailments, are enucleated some conceptions developed in the literature of the secrets of the late Renaissance. In the text are intertwined conceptions of a medical, philosophical, magical and astrological nature illustrated in the light of a complex interweaving of different doctrines, which celebrate the psycho-physical dualism of man.
