Santa pazzia francescana nell'Albania del secolo XVII

Abstract

They are not reports to be sent to Rome, but autobiographical texts by three Franciscan missionaries in Albania (17th cent.) meant for publication: they have been recovered in autograph manuscript form in the Order's Veneto provincial Archive. They are precious sources of information on customs and traditions, relations between the Serenissima and the Turks, language evidence with numerous Albanian inserts.
