| 4. | Description | Abstract | The purpose of this investigation, conducted through the perusal of the Dizionario dei proverbi salentini (De Donno, 1996), is to group and analyze proverbs about the sea, in order to enhance their presence in the Salento linguistic and cultural tradition, through a classification of the proverbs themselves. The three different classifications proposed have been developed by Soletti, Franceschi, Sevilla and Cantera. |
